Dassault Aviation will expand its Falcon cabin familiarization training program to include the new Falcon 8X ultra-long range aircraft, set to begin deliveries in second half 2016.
The one-day sessions are tailored to individual aircraft operating requirements and feature classroom and hands-on presentations intended to familiarize pilots, flight attendants and owners with cabin features, amenities, safety equipment, entertainment systems and other onboard hardware.
The program, initiated in 2007 with the Falcon 7X, has since included the twin engine Falcon 2000S/LXS family and the Falcon 900LX trijet as well. It is offered in partnership with Aircare FACTS Training International and is made available to all new Falcon buyers free of charge.
“Falcon cabin familiarization training is part of our ongoing commitment at Dassault to maximize customer value and optimize the Falcon ownership experience,” said Frédéric Leboeuf, vice president, Falcon operational support. “So far, operator feedback has been very positive. Customers are making full use of this valuable and flexible training tool and really appreciate the numerous benefits it has to offer.”
The training is generally dispensed immediately following aircraft delivery at the operator's base or other preferred location. It also includes a review of technical documents and cabin configuration specifics, an overview of aircraft specifications and performance data, and a comprehensive aircraft exterior familiarization tour.
