The board of directors of The Charter Company (UK) Limited is delighted to announce that it has reached agreement with Volker Meissner, director and owner of Canterbury based Aviation Charter Limited to acquire this successful specialist broker and merge as from today the operations of both companies.

Director John Keeble, founder and chairman of TCC, who has known Volker Meissner, owner and director of Aviation Charter, for many years, is pleased that Aviation Charter's strong European links will benefit The Charter Company's clients from Middle and Far East who will profit from a close-knit network of suppliers in Europe.

Volker, who is also deputy chairman of BACA, has joined the board and has become a significant shareholder of the enlarged company. “I strongly believe the merger is to the benefit of our customers”, says Volker Meissner. “A stronger background will enable us to enhance our service and the customer experience.”

“Additionally we will strengthen our buying force and deliver the advantages to our clients” complements John Keeble. “Our combined data resources have already led to quicker and more comprehensive quotations for the benefit of us all, including the teams of both companies.”

As a result of the merger the company logo has been re-designed to reflect the integration of both companies although the name remains the same.
