Vector Aircraft Services renews contract with Commsoft to continue using OASES

Commsoft, a world leader in aviation engineering and maintenance systems, is delighted to announce that Vector Aircraft Services, an established, independent asset management and continuing airworthiness service provider, has renewed its contract to continue using OASES for a further three years in a 15 concurrent user deal.

Commsoft's flagship product, OASES is a 'best-of-breed' MRO IT system which offers an industry-leading technical sophistication whilst being intuitively user-friendly. To allow for scalability, OASES is structured in a modular format and Vector has selected the airworthiness, planning, core, materials and line maintenance modules.

Vector will be using OASES to undertake CAMO work for several corporate aviation and other third party customers, to provide assistance to owners/lessors during aircraft ownership changes, and to carry out contract work for airline customers, including a number of other OASES users for whom Vector provides implementation support both directly and on Commsoft's behalf.

Nick Godwin, Commsoft managing director, commented “Vector has been a Commsoft client since 2006 and their decision to continue using, and supporting, OASES is a gratifying vote of confidence in the system. Vector's CAMO customer base is extremely varied and the engineering functionality in OASES is a particular strength. We look forward to continuing to work closely with them.”

Chris Spencer, managing director, Vector Aircraft Services added “Vector's commitment to its customers in providing compliant, efficient and cost effective technical support relies on constant development of our operating systems. The functionality and continuous development of OASES provides us with a core operating system that fully supports our commitment to our customers and our need for continuous improvement. This includes the provision of additional functionality to the legacy systems that are provided with some of the corporate aircraft.”
