Rizon Jet chief appointed to board of Rizon Jet UK

The ceo of Rizon Jet UK - Allan McGreal - already a member of the board of directors of the parent Biggin Hill Hangar Company Ltd, has been newly appointed to the board of directors for Rizon Jet UK, based at Biggin Hill Airport.

The directorship adds to Allan's distinguished career in aviation that includes fourteen years in the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, serving with Phantom and Sea Harrier squadrons, including US Navy F14, followed by work as foreman of fighter prototypes for Hawk, Sea Harrier and Harrier development with British Aerospace military aircraft. Then as senior development engineer with British Airways before advancing to fleet manager of B737 fleets.

Allan historically held a number of senior posts including head of group quality control for aerospace manufacturer EIS Group Hamble, before moving in to business aviation as chief executive of Osprey Aviation, managing director of Signature Flight Support & Engineering, then head of Marshall Aerospace's business aviation division.

In 2010, he took responsibility for the installation and commissioning of the new integrated FBO, VIP terminal and MRO at London Biggin Hill. As ceo, he is now Rizon Jet's Form 4 post holder and 'accountable manager' for the CAA. Allan's creative knowledge and business acumen developed the vision for the game-changing business aviation facility that continues to deliver Rizon Jet's multi-award winning success to date.
