PrivaJet presents remodeled BBJ featuring two-star Michelin cuisine at 41,000ft

PrivaJet, the specialist vvip aircraft charter and management company, has unveiled its redesigned Boeing Business Jet, which is now available for global charter.

At a special event held in Basel on June 4th, guests were treated to a private viewing of the modernized aircraft, which has been in the hands of Jet Aviation's craftspeople for the past six months.

The aircraft, which has received a complete refurbishment of the interior, is set out in a 19 seat vvip configuration featuring a master bedroom suite, an office that converts into a second bedroom, two bathrooms, a lounge and a separate dining area. This new configuration enables passengers to fly 6,000nm non-stop (London to Los Angeles) with the greatest level of comfort. The livery of the aircraft has also been updated and the in-flight entertainment system now features the full capabilities of the latest release of Rockwell Collins Venue. In addition, all passengers can enjoy broadband WiFi, iPads and new HD monitors.

Speaking at the launch, PrivaJet commercial director, Jérôme Franier said, “Today marks a very special milestone for our company. We are extremely proud of the new look we have given to this incredible aircraft. The configuration and high specification means that our customers are now able to charter one of the most sophisticated jets in the market.”

One feature that PrivaJet is extremely proud of is the introduction of its unique “Flying Chef” service onboard. In partnership with Yves Mattagne, the Michelin two-star chef and owner of Sea Grill in Brussels, Belgium, PrivaJet's new dining concept features a private chef onboard every flight to prepare and serve meals.

“We have spent the last six months with Yves Mattagne and his team to develop something unique, which is the first ever Michelin 2-star dining service at 41,000 ft,” explains Franier. “Our cuisine needs to be exceptional and this partnership demonstrates the level of excellence we are aiming for in terms of service for our clients.”

Charter service for the PrivaJet BBJ resumed on June 9th, 2014.
