Air Service Basel achieves CAA Cayman Islands maintenance approval

The Swiss MRO and FBO facility, Air Service Basel GmbH, is proud to announce that it has been granted the maintenance approval certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands (ref. CAACI AMO 154-CAY-AMO-2014). Based at the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse, Air Service Basel is also a Beechcraft authorized service center for King Air products. Claudio Lasagni, Air Service Basel’s ceo, states that “we are very pleased about being granted this CAACI AMO approval, as it is complementary to our already existing EASA Part 145 and FAA repair station approvals, and it fits perfectly into our wide range of MRO and FBO services. By adding this approval we meet the increasing demand of our customers for flexible line and base maintenance services, together with a highly responsive AOG support for aircraft away from their home base.” Air Service Basel, which began operation in 1967, is a full service FBO, as well as an EASA and FAA approved maintenance organisation and repair station, at the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse (LFSB / LSZM) in Switzerland. Air Service Basel’s maintenance department includes a highly qualified and flexible team of licensed aircraft mechanics with a wide range of capabilities for piston, turboprop and turbine aircraft. Air Service Basel's full-service FBO terminal offers an exclusive, discreet and secure environment, together with perfect customer-focused services.
