NasJet fleet expansion with addition of Citation Excel based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Demand in the Middle East for short range private jets increases amongst business and leisure users looking to fly from city to city as NasJet-the largest private jet operator in the region signs a management agreement for an eight-seat Citation Excel, based between 'charter hotspots' Jeddah and Riyadh-Saudi Arabia.

As part of a growing fleet, with 65 managed/flight support aircraft, NasJet will offer the aircraft at a competitive charter rate to clients requiring an efficient method of flying short range trips, typically between regional city pairs.

The Citation Excel has the roomiest cabin in its class with stand up head room and plenty of luggage space. “In many cases this aircraft competes directly with business-class commercial airline fares, if the aircraft is fully occupied and the passengers want the flexibility to return the same day”, says charter sales director Khalil Rachidi.

“The owner of this aircraft selected NasJet for the depth of international and regional aircraft management experience, which spans 13-years. Most importantly, NasJet were able to demonstrate significant 'economy of scale' cost saving benefits on operational items including fuel, insurance, maintenance and crew training”, commented aircraft management director Yosef Hafiz.

NasJet are able to provide immediate back-up support services, if at any time the owner's aircraft is either busy flying or in maintenance. The core charter fleet consists of Gulfstream, Falcon and Hawker aircraft, available 24/7 through the dedicated NasJet Charter department.
