CAE receives certificate from Dassault validating highest-level training standards for business aircraft pilots and maintenance personnel

CAE today announced that Dassault Aviation has awarded its business aviation training centres worldwide a Falcon Training Policy Manual (FTPM) certificate, which validates that CAE is delivering superior quality training services for Falcon pilots and maintenance personnel. The FTPM is the highest level attainable by a Dassault Authorized Training Provider (DATP).

"The FTPM certificate demonstrates to Dassault Falcon clients that CAE is totally committed to ensuring that courseware, simulators, training devices, instructor skills and customer service excellence are always current with Dassault standards," said Jeff Roberts, CAE group president, civil simulation products, training and services.

CAE's rigorous and responsive change management process continuously addresses updates to aircraft, aircraft operations and aviation regulations, as well as training needs defined by clients.

CAE was the first Dassault Authorized Training Provider for the Falcon 7X. CAE was also the first in the industry to provide EASA- and FAA-approved simulator training for the new Dassault EASy II cockpit, on the Falcon 900EX EASy II aircraft, and will be implementing additional EASy II training programs in the coming months.

In May 2012, CAE launched a new training location for aircraft maintenance personnel near Dassault's largest facility in Little Rock, Arkansas USA, home to Falcon jet production, the main aircraft completion centre and the Dassault Aircraft Services centre. CAE had previously initiated maintenance personnel training courses near Dassault headquarters in Bordeaux, France, enabling students to receive in one training trip Part 147 approved type training with integrated classroom, computer-based and simulator training at CAE together with approved on-aircraft Practical Training provided by DassaultSince its inception in 2010, the Bordeaux program has been increasing capacity and course frequency to accommodate growing customer demand.

Responses to an extensive post-training survey consistently rate CAE training as world-class for key indicators which are most important to business aircraft operators.

Pilots award some of the highest ratings to the knowledge and preparation of CAE instructors, the quality of instruction in the classroom, and the responsiveness of instructors to questions. Other high scores include customer service as well as delivery and quality of training records.

For maintenance personnel, clients rate instructor knowledge, course content, quality of instruction, ground school course tests and simulator or training device performance and reliability as outstanding elements of CAE training programs.

CAE delivers training for more than a dozen Dassault Falcon aircraft models and variants, including the Falcon 10, 50, 50EX, 100, 900B, 900C, 900EX, 900EX EASy, 900EX EASy II, 2000, 2000EX, 2000EX EASy, and 7X.

The Dassault FTPM certificate applies to CAE business aircraft training locations in Bordeaux, France; Little Rock, Dallas and Morristown, USA; Burgess Hill, UK; and Dubai, UAE.
