Dassault Aviation to exhibit at Cannes AirShow for the first time with Falcon 2000LX

At this year's meeting of the Cannes AirShow, June 7 to 9, 2012 at Cannes Mandeilieu Airport, the only dedicated General Aviation Exhibition in France will welcome Dassault Aviation as an exhibitor for the first time.

In its debut presence at the show Dassault Aviation will present the Falcon 2000LX to visitors and will join the strong line-up of leading general and business aviation manufacturers already signed up for the show. Dassault will exhibit alongside Embraer Executive Jets, Cessna, Hawker Beechcraft, Piaggio Aero, Pilatus, Daher Socata, Cirrus, Piper Aircraft, Tecnam, amongst many others. With over 200 exhibitors expected for 2012 (a 10% increase on the 2011 show) this year promises to be the most successful Cannes AirShow yet, and follows hard on the heels of the success of the first Abu Dhabi Airport Expo arranged by the show organisers in March 2012. Didier Mary, show director commented, "the presence of such an important French manufacturer adds further gravitas to the show, now in its sixth year, and we are delighted to welcome Dassault to the static display."

More than 10,000 pilots, aviation enthusiasts, suppliers, manufacturers and visitors are expected to attend this year's show to celebrate its sixth birthday and to take part in the 100th Anniversary celebrations of Cannes International Airport.
