Jet Aviation has recently appointed Micha Miketta and Peter Davidse as new MRO sales directors in Dusseldorf and Zurich, respectively to promote their MRO operations and to work closely with Jet Aviation's regional MRO sales organization in EMEA & Asia. Both report directly to the facility vice president and general manager at their respective locations; Sebastian Groeger in Dusseldorf and Jakob Straub in Zurich.

Miketta began his career as an aircraft mechanic with Crossair in 1999, advancing to Embraer maintenance supervisor with a large aerospace technology company in 2005. A licensed (B1) engineer, Miketta has managed major maintenance projects for Global Express, Challenger, Learjet and Embraer Legacy aircraft. He joined Embraer Executive Jets in 2008, successfully building up their service center in Paris before joining Jet Aviation Dusseldorf as product manager for Embraer aircraft in January 2011.

"Micha brings considerable technical and industry knowledge to this position and has a deep understanding of our customers needs," says Groeger. "He is ideally suited to lead the team while ensuring high-quality service continuity."

Davidse, who joined Jet Aviation Zurich effective January 1 this year, has been in the commercial aviation industry for 28 years. As a seasoned sales & marketing professional, Davidse has worked for a number of global aviation companies, including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, SR Technics and Honeywell. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering.
