George Best Belfast City Airport (EGAC/BHD) and Eurojet choose fuel supplier, Avfuel Corporation to help grow business

George Best Belfast City Airport and Eurojet Aviation, the locally based FBO, have announced that they will partner with US-based Avfuel Corporation for fuel and services. As the business aviation supplier, Avfuel will provide fuel, fuel purchasing solutions, credit processing equipment; marketing support, a loyalty program for pilots and much more to support Eurojet's business aviation customers.

Recognising that there is a significant difference between the commercial and business aviation sectors, the management at the airport took the initiative to acquire the fuel infrastructure allowing entry of an additional fuel supplier. According to Mark Beattie, Operations Director for George Best Belfast City Airport, "Introducing an alternative fuel supplier allows us to be more competitive which will ultimately drive more business aviation traffic to the airport." Beattie has been focused on growing the general aviation sector at the airport and is pleased with the service solutions that Avfuel is supplying. He adds, "Partnering with Avfuel will allow us to enhance the variety of products and services we currently offer to our customers. The partnership will also enhance customer interest in our FBO with the launch of Avfuel's refuelling-rewards card for pilots and its marketing techniques. We look forward to continuing to work with Avfuel and Eurojet to bring the highest possible quality to our general aviation customers."

Located discreetly apart from the main terminal, Eurojet Aviation provides a range of passenger and crew handling facilities and services. Site features include an executive lounge, a crew lounge, direct access to aircraft, flight planning and weather equipment, technical assistance with aircraft and VIP catering and ground arrangements such as limousine and hotel accommodations.

"We are proud to say that Eurojet Aviation will be the first FBO in Ireland to join the Avfuel- branded network. Indeed, Avfuel's reputation for professionalism and commitment to customer service makes the company the perfect partner for our business," said Graeme Campbell, Managing Director of Eurojet Aviation. "We're looking forward to working with Avfuel and to offering the benefits of their market-leading programs and services to our business clients."

"Eurojet's reputation for luxury combined with its widely-acknowledged VIP service make it a natural fit for the Avfuel-branded FBO network," said Avfuel's Marci Ammerman, director of marketing. "The fusion of the contemporary atmosphere and mastery of aircraft handling make for unbeatable experience for guests traveling in and around Belfast."

Eurojet plans continued expansion of its general and business aviation portfolio, in which the luxury FBO experience plays a pivotal role.
