Dassault Falcon appoints Guillaume Landrivon, vice president, worldwide spares

Dassault Aviation has appointed Guillaume Landrivon, Vice President of Worldwide Spares, replacing Jean Kayanakis who has taken on a new assignment as General Manager of Dassault Falcon Service, last week. Landrivon will report to Jacques Chauvet, Sr. Vice President of Worldwide Falcon Customer Service.

In his new position, Landrivon will lead the spare part strategy and logistics efforts to support the fleet of over 1,800 Falcons spread throughout the world. "Guillaume has demonstrated a keen understanding of our customers' needs," said Chauvet. "He has a high level of proficiency in dealing with challenging tasks which makes him an excellent choice to head the spare parts organization and to further expand our network." Currently there are 13 facilities involved in supporting the Falcon fleet representing a total value of more than $700 million (US).

Landrivon started his career in 1991 at EADS Socata in Dallas, Texas as a Field Service Engineer, later becoming the Product Support Manager for the single engine "TB Series".

He was hired by Dassault Aviation in 1998 as Manager of the Authorized Service Center Network. In 2000, he joined the newly created Dassault Aviation Falcon Spares department under the leadership of Frank Youngkin, as Falcon Spares Sales Manager.

In 2004, Landrivon was appointed as Director, Customer Relations and Field Service where he managed the team of Customer Service Managers and the newly created Technical Center in Saint Cloud.

Landrivon, 43, holds an engineering degree in Aeronautics from ESTACA, as well as an FAA IFR single engine private pilot license. He has four children.
