Jet Aviation Dusseldorf named Hawker 800/800 XP authorized service center

Jet Aviation Dusseldorf was recently named a Hawker 800/800 XP authorized service center by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation. The company has been an authorized service center for more than two decades for the Beechcraft King Air, Beechjet and more recently the Beechcraft Premier I aircraft.

Jet Aviation Dusseldorf has performed maintenance work on Hawker 800-series aircraft for many years. The new authorization now allows the facility to also perform warranty work on the aircraft. "Our Dusseldorf MRO team has achieved an excellent reputation for Hawker 800 series maintenance work over the last few years and I am very proud that the aircraft has now been added to our overall Hawker authorized service center capabilities," says Johannes Turzer, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Germany. He continued, "There are more and more Hawker 800 operators in our region and I am confident that we can give them the premium support they expect."

Hawker Beechcraft's Steve Porte, vice president, International Support added, "Jet Aviation has been an authorized service center for many years supporting the Beechcraft King Air, Beechjet and more recently the Beechcraft Premier. The quality of support Jet Aviation Dusseldorf provides and the growing Hawker fleet in Europe prompted our decision to add the Hawker 800-series rating to the facility."

Jet Aviation Dusseldorf offers complete maintenance, repair and overhaul, avionics, refurbishment, FBO and 24-hour AOG-services. It is an authorized service center for the Beechcraft turboprop series and the Premier I, the Hawker 800/800 XP, the Cessna Citation series, as well as the Embraer Legacy ERJ 135 and Avanti Piaggio. In addition, the facility also provides line and base maintenance for the Hawker 400 XP. The company has three hangars totaling 6,400 square meters (66,100 square feet), including various workshops, a spare parts stock and a comprehensive technical library and offers ample space to accommodate aircraft of all sizes on its ramp. Jet Aviation Dusseldorf also is the headquarters of the two Jet Aviation MRO stations in Germany located in Hannover and Kassel. All locations hold an EASA part 145 (# EASA 145.0011) repair station approval, and Dusseldorf and Hannover are also FAA approved repair stations.
