Regional Business Aviation Forum in Kazan heralded as great success

On the 9th and the 10th of August the Regional Business Aviation Forum, organised by Russian United Business Aviation Association (RUBAA), Tulpar Aero Group and Kazan International Airport, took place in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was performed with the support of Ministry of Transport and Road Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and JSC Kazan Fair.

Over 300 delegates participated in the conference and also visited static display of business aircraft, which was open for two days at the apron of Terminal 2 at Kazan International Airport.

The conference was held at the Tulpar Technic hangar, and its agenda comprised information on the current status of business aviation market in Russia, its perspectives and the influence of sanctions, the development of business aircraft maintenance, as well as the plans for Kazan airport's development.

On the static display there were presented 11 business aircraft, both of Russian and foreign manufacturers. In addition to the program, the participants were offered a visit to the interior facility of Tulpar Interior Group.

“The event exceeded all expectations, both of the visitors, judging by their feedback, and ours as organizers. This kind of format and the scale of a regional forum are both firsts. Of course, such an event for professionals became possible only with support and efforts of our partners, Tulpar Aero Group and Kazan Airport, as well as of all the colleagues, who found a possibility to visit Tatarstan this summer," comments Anna Serezhkina, RUBAA executive director.

“We have a lot of future plans, and I am sure, that more than one event will be of great interest.”

“Aviation was created to eliminate borders. And in our performance we have always been and are now for a healthy competition. Both Tulpar Technic and Tulpar Interior as independent providers of services in the field of aircraft maintenance and aviation interiors, are always ready to accommodate both regional aircraft and business aviation “birds” from the capital. During the two days of the forum we were able to demonstrate fully the opportunities of the Kazan hub for Russian business aviation clients and for neighboring countries. I am glad that major aircraft manufacturers joined the forum and understand that the regions have a solid potential. I am even more glad for our friends and their success at the show; we speak about several contracts on aircraft delivery,” shares Azat Khakim, chairman of the board, Tulpar Aero Group.

“We acted as one of the organizers of the Regional Business Aviation Forum, because business aviation is an important vector for Kazan International Airport's performance. Positive feedback from RUBAA and participants is our best prize,” concluded Aleksey Starostin, director general of JSC International Airport Kazan.
