Euro Jet to celebrate 10 years of growth at EBACE

Euro Jet, the leading provider of ground support services throughout Europe and Asia, is pleased to celebrate 10 years of continuous growth and development at EBACE this May 29-31, 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Established in 2008, Euro Jet's goal was to create a network of ground handling support stations throughout Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Ten years later and with over 200 stations manned by a team of aviation professionals, fluent in both their local language and English, the company has supported tens of thousands of flights for customers ranging from executive jet operators to commercial and cargo carriers.

“The overall interest of American, European, and Asian customers in the region of Central and Eastern Europe along with the CIS countries has been tremendous over the past ten years. The growth of tourism, manufacturing, along with other business investments from all over the world has contributed to the extraordinary growth of Euro Jet. We were founded right before the global recession, were able to work through it, and since then have been very successful as the world economy has prospered,” says Gareth Danker, Euro Jet's director of global sales and marketing.

Over the past 10 years, the company has strived to improve the airport experience of all crews by continuously opening complimentary crew lounges throughout the Euro Jet network. Currently, new crew lounges and offices are opening in Sofia, Bulgaria; Warsaw, Poland, and Belgrade, Serbia. The company also moved to a renovated lounge at the new General Aviation Terminal in Zagreb, Croatia. Euro Jet also has two lounges located in Prague, Czech Republic; Poprad, Slovakia; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic; Constanta, Romania; Tivat, Montenegro; and Bucharest, Romania.

In order to adjust to the significant increase in flights, Euro Jet has over the past year doubled the amount of people working in its Operations Control Center (OCC) located in Prague, Czech Republic.

“Continuously growing the staff allows us to cover the high demand for our services during the busy summer months as well as one-time events that often double the amount of business coming in. The next big event that our OCC team will take care of along with local staff is the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which is hosted by Russia this year in 11 different locations. Euro Jet will be working with its carefully selected partners in each location, along with its own representatives on the ground to provide the most expedited and efficient service during what is expected to be a challenging event,” says Paul Lourenco, Euro Jet's director of operations.

Euro Jet was also one of the first international companies to participate in the NATA Safety 1st training, having certified its ground staff in the program. Furthermore, all country managers and top agents gather multiple times during the year for continuous training. “Maintaining the highest standards is of the utmost importance to the company,” comments Euro Jet's CEO Charlie Bodnar.

“While the first ten years brought an increase in staff, clients, and continued investment, the question is what will the next ten years bring? My answer to this is that we are planning nonstop business expansion, and for the next 10 years we will work every day to ensure our customers have the best possible experience,” continues Mr. Bodnar.

Euro Jet provides the added service of supervisory agents that are based at over 200 airports in a geographic area that starts in the Czech Republic and covers the regions of the Balkans, Baltics, Belorussia, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Euro Jet can support nearly every aspect of a flight operation. This includes coordinating all handling arrangements with the airport authority and or local handling company, organizing permits, setting-up fuel, fulfilling crew logistical needs that includes hotel and transportation, and assisting with VIP catering. Euro Jet also offers credit to qualifying customers.
