Press Release

Issued by Asian Sky Group.

April 13, 2018

Following best year to date, Asian Sky Group continues success across all business units in Q1 2018

Business aviation consulting firm Asian Sky Group (ASG) has followed up 2017, its best year to date, with continued success across all business units in the first quarter of 2018. ASG's transaction, market research and consulting and charter units, plus Asian Sky Media, all produced better than ever quarterly results, in line with the overall improved business aviation environment in the Asia-Pacific region.

"In the first quarter of 2018, ASG has concluded an unprecedented level of business: ten transactions, four charters, completed three big consultancy projects and bid on six new market research and consulting projects, as well as wrapped up production of our two key annual publications, the Asia-Pacific business jet and civil helicopter fleet reports for YE2017," says ASG managing director Jeffrey Lowe.

"I'm extremely happy with our performance on the rotary side with four closing in the first quarter, three of which were EC155s. The 155 market is particularly challenging at this time but, nevertheless, I think ASG singlehandedly represented the total global business for this type."

The ten transactions, a G550, Global XRS, G5000, G450, Citation XLS, King Air C90, three EC155s and an EC135, highlight the strengths of ASG in sales and acquisitions, which include capabilities across a broad range of aircraft types (both fixed-wing and rotary), plus intra-region and global reach; as four of the deals were within the Asia-Pacific region with two to China and six overseas with five to the US. Charters, likewise, demonstrated ASG's local and international capabilities with destinations including Sydney, Fiji, Stockholm and Belize. The consulting opportunities included governmental tenders, OEM research, traffic analysis, company branding and positioning, plus completion management.

Show attendees can learn more about ASG at ABACE, where the sales, charter, and consulting units will be represented at Booth P218. Asian Sky Media will be present at Booth H2706, where attendees can pick up a copy of the Asia Pacific Business Jet Fleet Report and Asian Sky Quarterly.
