OJets acquires European aircraft management and charter company Elit'Avia

OJets, a new integrated provider of comprehensive business aviation services, today announced the acquisition of Elit'Avia, a business aircraft management, charter and services company based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Headquartered in Singapore, OJets' world-class team is guided by a commitment to delivering industry-defining service, tailored to the most discerning Asian and international business travellers. OJets makes trans-Pacific and transcontinental air travel luxurious and convenient.

Last week, OJets announced the purchase of two aircraft, a Bombardier Global 6000 and a Bombardier Challenger 650, from Minsheng Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. The company also pledged to quadruple this figure within the next 90 days. OJets' acquisition of Elit'Avia expands the company's total number of owned/managed aircraft from two to a fleet of 23.

The Elit'Avia acquisition is a strategic move that allows OJets to leverage a decade-long wealth of operational experience and an unmatched reputation for professionalism. Thanks to it, OJets' operations are managed under the Maltese AOC that Elit'Avia has held for years, which permits global access, including flights to the USA. Furthermore, the acquisition enriches OJets' total service offering by integrating aircraft management and charter with private fleet operations.

The new company is led by business aviation veteran Nicholas Houseman. As CEO, Mr. Houseman brings 20 years of industry experience to his new role. Nick has co-owned Elit'Avia since 2011 and founded Zenith Jet in 2008. Previously, he held several senior management roles at Bombardier Aerospace, including: director, Global XRS/5000 green program and new product development; director, sales strategy and support; director, flight operations; and general manager, Skyjet.

Elit'Avia chairman Michel Coulomb and CEO Puja Mahajan will continue to serve longstanding clients and manage day-to-day operations of Elit'Avia as a wholly-owned subsidiary of OJets.

"OJets represents the optimization of luxury business aviation services," says Nick Houseman, CEO, OJets. "With our private fleet, we are offering services that respond to current market conditions by minimizing capital commitment and eliminating asset risk."

"Under Michel and Puja's expert management and steady guidance, Elit'Avia will continue to serve existing and prospective clients with industry-leading aircraft management, charter and VIP travel services. Collectively, our clients will benefit from access to more aircraft and more pilots, and an extended global reach with fixed operations and offices in Asia, Europe and North America. Our vision is to draw from our numerous strengths to offer an unprecedented level of service to discerning clients worldwide," concludes Mr. Houseman.
