ACC Aviation has this week announced the appointment of Richard Smith as its new director of charter.

Richard, whose career in aviation spans three decades, will be overseeing ACC's fast-growing aircraft charter division, ACC Charter, bringing a significant weight of experience to the role and a proven track record in delivering growth within highly competitive markets worldwide.

CEO, Phil Aird-Mash, commented: “We are delighted to have Richard join ACC to lead our aircraft charter division. The department has seen some truly transformative growth in the last few years and, with his vast wealth of experience in aircraft charter and aviation, I am certain that Richard will prove instrumental in fulfilling our ambitious plans for the future.”

The appointment comes as part of the Reigate-based company's succession planning for incumbent COO, Phillip Peters, who has recently announced his retirement, with Glenn Hogben moving into the role of operations director.
