Controp Precision Technologies Ltd., a company specializing in the field of electro-optics and IR defense and homeland security solutions, will present a complete, integrated, affordable maritime air patrol and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) protection surveillance solution at the Singapore Airshow 2018. Controp's A-DSMS system was successfully installed on various models of helicopters and fixed-wing light aircraft, and provides an outstanding price/performance solution for maritime air patrol (MPA).
According to Mr. Hagay Azani, Controp's VP marketing and sales, “Safeguarding a country's territorial and EEZ waters has always been a very expensive undertaking that requires immense budgets and involves extended timetables, significant manpower, and logistic complexity. We provide a solution that delivers extensive operational benefits at totally different price levels and with limited logistical implications. It is designed for a light aircraft combined with a complete and integrated mission system, enabling very high-performance maritime patrol missions and EEZ protection.”
The A-DSMS is a complete integrated solution specially designed for converting commercial rotary-wing and fixed-wing platforms into military, law enforcement, and government aircraft for advanced EO/IR surveillance missions. These surveillance platforms are used for a variety of applications including search and rescue (SAR), firefighting, coastal/border surveillance, marine patrol, EEZ protection and more. The A-DSMS is offered with a variety of Controp's EO/IR gyro-stabilized payloads and includes a full HD day camera. In addition, the A-DSMS provides an operator's workstation with a display monitor, DVR, control unit, mission computer, moving map software, and video downlink.
Mr. Azani added, “We recently successfully installed a system of this type for a customer in Africa for use in Intelligence as well as search and rescue missions, and have implemented similar projects for a variety of clients and missions, with our solution having proven successful for several years.”
