2Excel BroadSword introduces two UK based VIP Boeing 737s to fleet

2Excel BroadSword has introduced two UK based VIP Boeing 737s to its fleet.

2Excel Aviation Limited is the parent company with a number of branches, one of which is 2Excel BroadSword, a VIP charter airline. BroadSword has grown rapidly from having just one King Air 200 six years ago to a current fleet of five King Air 200s, a Citation M2, and now two VIP Boeing 737s, based between Doncaster (EGCN), Oxford (EGTK) and London Stansted (EGSS).

"We pride ourselves on operating a professional VIP service combined with transparency to our clients and brokers alike," says George Offer, head of BroadSword. "But of course, with safety as our number one priority."

Having watched the VIP airline market closely for some time now, the company believes that early 2018 is the right time to introduce the aircraft onto 2Excel's AOC. Therefore, in September 2017 it purchased two 'wingletted' Boeing 737s, which are in 56 or 62 passenger VIP business class configuration; these aircraft will be based in the Diamond Hangar at London Stansted Airport.

"We have three supportive shareholders for this project," continues Offer. "2Excel Aviation Limited, TAG Stansted and OneXP who jointly have a vast amount of experience in the aviation world and are extremely excited to get going.

"Our target market will predominantly be: sports teams, blue chip companies, large music groups, events companies or any special event. We are very proud and enthusiastic about this project and our strategy is to build relationships and maintain a strong trustworthy partnership with the brokers and clients.

"The Diamond Hangar at London Stansted Airport gives us a fully-equipped home base and, having partnered XJet, this will give our departing/arriving clients a fantastic luxury VIP experience.

"Having recruited hard we now have a great new team of flight and cabin crew, all keen to service our future clients, and with a global AOC we will be able to service requirements worldwide."

The fleet of Boeings will be maintained by sister company, 2Excel Engineering a large aircraft maintenance and repair organisation, which is situated at Lasham airfield, Hampshire.

All of the paperwork has been submitted for the AOC variation and the operator is expecting a start date of 1st March 2018.
