Centreline breaks records during Glastonbury and Champions League

Centreline, the leading European aircraft management and charter company, has reported record June results for its Bristol Airport based FBO following two premier events. The FBO's prominent role in handling the wide range of business aviation activity during the Glastonbury Festival and UEFA Champions League Final meant the FBO experienced its highest ever number of aircraft movements and fuel sales.

Glastonbury is a five-day festival of contemporary performing arts that takes place in Somerset in the South West of England and the FBO handled many of the international acts travelling to the event. The UEFA Champions League final, held in Cardiff, further boosted the traffic utilising the Centreline facility, resulting in a 10% overall increase in aircraft movements and a 12% increase in fuel sales, the highest numbers ever recorded in June.

Centreline CEO Tanya Raynes commented, “I am delighted to report another record month for our FBO and to see the exciting range of business growing year on year.” Raynes continued, “The Centreline team always performs at the highest level of professionalism, be it when providing exceptional customer service to the many A list celebrities or handling the 100 pieces of band equipment that comes with managing these kind of events. Our activity in June alone really demonstrates the flexibility that Centreline FBO has to offer.”

Adding to the wide variety of the business managed in June, Centreline FBO also handled traffic from the Weston Air Festival, the arrival of two Typhoon aircraft and a Catalina, an American amphibious aircraft.
