Air Elite Network tops 70 locations

World Fuel Services announced today that the Air Elite Network has grown beyond 70 Diamond Service locations with the recent additions of Business Aviation Centre Frankfurt, Avjet Asia Co. Ltd., and Fast Air Jet Centre. The global network of uniquely exceptional FBOs now encompasses 72 locations.

BACF, the 70th FBO to join the Air Elite Network, is based at Frankfurt Main International Airport (EDDF) in Germany. Located just 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from Frankfurt's city center, BACF offers fully-equipped crew and passenger lounges (including wine, beer and champagne), full ground services, maintenance services and board-to-board VIP service. The FBO is part of the Business Aviation Centre Group (BACG). Business Aviation Centre Cologne was the first BACG FBO to become a member of the Air Elite Network.

“We are thrilled to add our second location, Business Aviation Centre Frankfurt, to the Air Elite network after joining with our FBO in Cologne four years ago, said Christopher Klüfer, sales and marketing manager at Business Aviation Centre Germany “We appreciate the continued support of the World Fuel Services team and are proud to be a part of this exclusive FBO network. Our membership in the network will strengthen our position in the competitive Frankfurt market and shows that our team meets the high service expectations in the business.”

Avjet Asia Co. Ltd., the first and only full facility FBO in South Korea, is located at Gimpo International Airport (RKSS) in Seoul, South Korea. Opened in 2016, the brand new, 24/7 FBO is located just 16 kilometers (10 miles) from the heart of Seoul. The facility offers full ground handling services and operates a VIP terminal equipped with private VIP lounges, crew lounge, snooze room, shower facilities, and on-site Customs, Immigration and Quarantine services. The FBO is perfectly situated for technical stops for transpacific flights. The facility also provides MRO services, line maintenance and hangarage. The FBO's multilingual staff is committed to providing top-level, discrete service to their clientele

“Avjet Asia is proud to announce it's joining the Air Elite Network. As the first FBO in Korea, and since the nation is still new to the market, our objective is to provide relevant services, develop the business aviation market within Korea as well as serve as the transit stop in northeast Asia. We hope to be a powerful inspiration in the region as well as add value to the Air Elite Network. We look forward to meeting and collaborating with the members,” said Wook Sang Cho, president and CEO of Avjet Asia.

Fast Air Jet Centre, the Air Elite Network's first Canadian FBO, is located at Winnipeg James Richardson International Airport (CYWG) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and is regarded as the most accessible FBO on the field. Featuring a beautiful interior, the facility offers full FBO and ground services including a passenger lounge, pilot's lounge, snooze room, conference room, along with on-site maintenance, charter services, 65,000 sq. ft. of hangar space and ramp parking. The FBO's management team has over 30 years' experience in serving their clients and their customer service staff is eager to assist visitors with local information and planning their visit to central Canada.

“The Fast Air Jet Centre is delighted to become the first Canadian FBO join the Air Elite Network. Our team is honored to be included in such 'Elite” company as those who make up this world-class FBO network. We are excited about the recognition that comes with working with others who strive to give the best service in the industry,” said Dan Rutherford, manager of marketing and business development for Fast Air Jet Centre.

Fast Air Jet Centre is one of the first FBOs to join World Fuel Services Network of FBOs following World Fuel Services' acquisition of ExxonMobil locations throughout Canada in November 2016. The location is a provider of World Fuel Services branded aviation fuel.

“We are happy to celebrate this impressive milestone for the network,” said Michael Szczechowski, World Fuel Services' senior vice president of business aviation sales. “Our team is proud to further grow our relationship with BACG with the addition of BACF and we are honored to welcome the first FBO in South Korea to the network with Avjet Asia and Fast Air Jet Centre as the first Canadian FBO member to be part of Air Elite. It's always an exciting time for us when we can spread the Diamond difference to new countries and give flight operators more choices for superior service when traveling around the globe.”

Year to date, the Air Elite Network has grown by ten locations. The network was established in 2011 and each FBO member must meet a number of airport, facility and service quality standards to qualify for membership.
