RocketRoute announces upgrades to RocketRoute FlightPlan

RocketRoute's latest update to its flight planning software, FlightPlan 2017 is now available to business and private customers. The 2017 edition builds on seven years of continuous development and improvement, led by careful listening to its members and their needs.

From a tiny start-up in 2010, RocketRoute has grown into a major player with over 120,000 clients by using feedback strategies in order to provide pilots with precisely what they want.

Private features for props:

- Upgraded autorouter - faster, simpler routing

- Quick File improvements for simple VFR filing

- Upgrades to Draw mode of Android, iOS and web

- Direct-to feature added

- Improvements to AFTN filing

- VFR and IFR Premium Content charts now available via web app, iOS, Android

- User waypoints brought to mobile iOS and Android apps

- App2drive - book car rentals for GA airports in Germany

- Local airport identifiers added for domestic filing TFR data added

- Support for Australia, New Zealand and China added

Business features for jets:

- Capability to add the thirrd flight crew for long haul flights

- Time-based reserves for VFR and IFR flights

- Multiple fuel calculation options added

- Drift-down calculations added

- New roles added Super Crew and Flight Crew.
