Rolls-Royce recognizes StandardAero with “triple crown” of awards at annual FIRST Network awards reception at 2017 HAI Heli-Expo

StandardAero received the triple crown of awards for “Customer Satisfaction,” “Program Investment” and “Total Quality” at the Rolls-Royce FIRST Network Recognition Reception, held on March 6 as part of Rolls-Royce's attendance at this year's HAI Heli-Expo in Dallas, Texas. The awards recognize significant achievements of authorized maintenance service centers that provide MRO services for M250 helicopter engines in the global marketplace.

The 2017 awards represented the unprecedented eighth year in a row that StandardAero has received the “Customer Satisfaction” award at the annual Rolls-Royce FIRST Network Recognition Reception. The Rolls-Royce Customer Satisfaction Award recognizes those facilities with the highest customer satisfaction ratings based on customer letters, performance, likelihood to recommend scores, third party monitoring and customer surveys.

The Rolls-Royce Program Investment Award recognized StandardAero for its significant investment in capital assets to support the Rolls-Royce M250 marketplace both short and long-term.

The Rolls-Royce Total Quality Award recognized StandardAero for its specific compressor case life extension improvement programs to enhance engine performance and reduce corrosion. Since fielding this customer guaranteed program in 2016, there have been zero returns or issues with the program.

“We are extremely proud and thrilled to receive this 'trifecta' of Rolls-Royce awards for 2017,” said Manny Atwal, vice president, helicopters, StandardAero. “This recognition aligns completely with StandardAero's continuous focus on satisfying customers, investing in resources that keep operators in the air and providing outstanding, high quality services that are highly recognized and even more importantly consistently acknowledged for the past eight years in a row.”

StandardAero has been a long-time, legacy partner servicing the Rolls-Royce M250 engine for 50 years and is one of the oldest, largest and broadest capability organizations in the Rolls-Royce FIRST Network.
