TAG Aviation to undertake fourth Falcon 7X C-check major inspection

TAG Aviation is pleased to announce it will soon commence its fourth scheduled C-check inspection on a Falcon 7X aircraft.

C-checks are the most comprehensive maintenance overhaul for the Dassault Falcon 7X and are due every eight years or every 4,000 cycles, whichever comes first. All the expertise needed for C-checks necessitates extensive production coordination between TAG's maintenance, engineering, customer support, spare parts and cabin refurbishment departments. Special planning is put in place to enable the quick reactivity which operators demand during this major overhaul process.

TAG's first C-check project on this aircraft type was completed during last summer and was undertaken in conjunction with a major cabin and cockpit refurbishment and also included a brand new veneer.

“Vinair has received the most excellent service from TAG Aviation during the C-check on our Falcon 7X which we truly appreciate”, said Filipe Avillez, CEO Vinair Aeroserviços. “We have always been very satisfied with the high level of service we receive from TAG Aviation. The professionalism and expertise with which TAG Aviation has managed this most complex maintenance check has exceeded our expectations and high expectations have always been the key to our success."

“We are proud to have been awarded the contracts for these milestone maintenance projects which have enabled us to hone our skills for future overhauls on this aircraft type and by drawing on the experience gained through undertaking these C-checks we can optimise our work flow and reduce ground time”, said Philippe Rabier, Vice President Maintenance Sales, TAG Aviation Europe. “These essential maintenance events have added a new chapter to the ongoing advancement of TAG's maintenance capabilities. We will continue to take the opportunity to combine scheduled critical checks with other service offerings by way of delivering the highest benefits to our customers.”

TAG Aviation has heavy maintenance centres in Geneva and Farnborough and also offers comprehensive maintenance services in Sion, Paris, Clermont-Ferrand, Madrid, Lisbon (network), Hong Kong and Lomé in Togo. TAG Aviation Maintenance Services is approved by all main aircraft manufacturers and has certification to work on over fifty types of aircraft.
