Global Aviation installs another Elite flight simulator

The longest established professional flight training organisation in Greece, Global Aviation, has added to its portfolio of flight simulators manufactured by Elite Simulation Solutions, the specialist provider of PC-based flight simulation training devices.

Global Aviation received its first Elite FNPTII in 2008 and upgraded it to FNPTII MCC standard six years later. Global Aviation has now added a second Elite FNPTII at its base at Pachi Airport (LGMG) in the Greek capital, Athens.

Global Aviation’s managing director, Alex Tsaktanis, said: “Global Aviation has been market leader in pilot training in Greece since 1997. Our international student programme has been very successful, having trained students from Europe, the Middle East and Asia.”

Professional courses it offers include ATPL integrated, ATPL modular, CPL, IR, MEP and MCC. Global Aviation operates six single engine and two twin engine training aircraft in weather that allows around 350 flight days a year and is also distributor in Greece and the Balkans for Piper aircraft.

“Our decision to go with Elite was based on the quality of their devices, the purchasing and operating costs and the unique support we have always had from their personnel since 2008.”

Elite’s director of marketing and sales, René Huddlestone, said: “Global Aviation is a leading provider of flight training services and, with this new FNPT installation, we are very happy to continue our long standing association with them.”
