World Fuel Services Network welcomes TAG Farnborough Airport

World Fuel Services announced today that TAG Farnborough Airport (EGLF/FAB) in Hampshire, United Kingdom recently joined the World Fuel Services Network of FBOs. Conveniently located less than an hour's drive from the capital city's central business district, the award-winning facility is known as the business aviation gateway to London. TAG will leverage World Fuel Services' reliable bulk jet fuel supply and technical support of local professionals during their five-year supply agreement.

TAG Farnborough provides unmatched FBO/handling services and amenities to passengers and crews visiting the greater London area. Beyond the award-winning, beautifully designed facilities and standard FBO/ground handling services, the facility is also home to an on-site hotel (Aviator Hotel). TAG is IS-BAH certified and can handle aircraft of almost any size. The facility has been awarded the World's No. 1 Fixed Base Operator for nine consecutive years and is well known for hosting the biennial Farnborough International Airshow. The airshow has been taking place since 1948 and will be open to the public July 21-22, 2018.

Farnborough Airport has a rich history in UK aviation. It was the UK's first airfield and home to the country's first powered flight in 1908. The airport as tower controlled, with radar approach facilities and is free of slot restrictions. The airport's location offers convenient direct motorway and rail connections for quick access to London. London is also easily accessed via helicopter in 12 minutes.
