Constant Aviation completes 40th 96-month inspection on Nigerian Legacy 600

Constant Aviation, offering full-service maintenance, repair, and overhaul with a nationwide network, has announced that it has completed its 40th 96-month inspection on an Embraer Legacy 600 aircraft based in Nigeria.

Jaco Swemmer, CAMO manager at SkyJet Aviation Services in Nigeria, offered, “Following multiple visits to a number of overseas MROs, we were left wanting more from our experience. After some due diligence, we had heard positive reviews of Constant Aviation's maintenance, repair, and overhaul proficiencies as an Embraer authorized service center. Over thirty-five hundred nautical miles and twenty hours of travel later, this Legacy maintenance and refurbishment event proved to be well worth the distance.”

Since 2005, Constant Aviation has accumulated over 1.5 million hours of experience on the Legacy 600 airframe, performing more than 100 48-month inspections, 33 72-month inspections, 15 144- month inspections, and 10 landing gear overhauls to date. It has been an authorized service center with Embraer since 1998.

The visiting Nigerian Legacy 600 business jet underwent a full interior refurbishment, paint, and a 96-month inspection while at Constant Aviation. Daniel Podojil, director of maintenance operations at Constant Aviation's (KCLE) Cleveland hangar, added, “We are extremely pleased to have been presented the opportunity to serve Jaco and the SkyJet team. It is our goal to be industry leaders on every aircraft we service. We strive to be leaders in new trends and technologies, and remain committed to creating long-term partnerships with our customers.”
