Jet Aviation appoints new FBO managers for operations in Geneva and Zurich

Jet Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Edgar Guerreiro as the manager of its FBO in Geneva, effective immediately. Guerreiro succeeds Joao Martins, who has relocated within the company to assume the role of general manager in Zurich.

As FBO manager, Guerreiro will oversee operation of Jet Aviation's FBO in Geneva. He joined the company's MRO and FBO facility in Geneva as purchasing manager in March 2016, responsible for negotiating all contracts and agreements on behalf of the company. He has nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality and aviation, beginning in the U.S. and Australia, before returning to his native Portugal where he held a number of operational management positions. Guerreiro moved to Switzerland approximately four years ago in his role with VistaJet.

Having served as FBO manager of Jet Aviation's Geneva location since March 2014, Martins is now the general manager at the company's Zurich operation. Martins joined Jet Aviation from the VistaJet Group, where he worked for two years as head of global purchasing and logistics. Prior to that, he held a number of senior management positions with NetJets Europe for almost 11 years. He holds a degree in accounting and business administration from Lusófona University.

“Edgar Guerreiro has demonstrated great dedication and a customer-focused orientation, while bringing crucial industry knowledge to his new role,” says Stefan Benz, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation's MRO and FBO operations in EMEA and Asia. “Joao Martins has a proven track record within the company, successfully managing and expanding our FBO services at the Geneva FBO the past couple of years. I have every confidence that these appointments will serve to strengthen our growing FBO network.”
