Chapman Freeborn promotes Radoslaw Puchalski to country manager of Poland

Chapman Freeborn Airchartering is delighted to announce the promotion of Radoslaw “Radek” Puchalski to the position of head of its business in Poland.

Puchalski, who has held the role of charter sales manager at Chapman Freeborn since 2012, will oversee the strategic growth of the company’s aircraft chartering and on board courier (OBC) services in Poland, as well as the expansion of the firm’s activities in Eastern Europe and the Baltic states.

He brings a wealth of expertise to the new role, with a strong background in the air cargo sector, as well as previous experience working for Poland’s civil aviation authority.

Chapman Freeborn’s Warsaw office opened in 1993 and last year the company furthered its investment in Poland with the launch of a new hub in Katowice to meet increased demand for its specialist services.

Russi Batliwala, Chapman Freeborn CEO, said: “Radek has built up a strong reputation in the charter industry and we’re delighted to be handing him the reins. He has already proved himself capable of driving growth and I am confident he will build on the excellent performance of our Polish team.”

Puchalski added: “I’m excited about the opportunity to continue Chapman Freeborn’s development in this region. We have had an established business in the country for over 20 years but I still see opportunities to reach new clients and expand our activities.”
