Air Business International and Greek Air Taxi Network launch new charter broker desk services

Air Business International (ABI), the leading private aviation services company in Greece, and the Greek Air Taxi Network (GATN) have launched the first charter broker desk services in Greece. The charter broker desk implements new aviation industry software to simplify communication among brokers and service providers and to provide real-time data on flights and travel statuses.

The GATN, which is under the management of ABI, is the country's first network of Greece-based private aviation charter companies cooperating to offer high quality, cost-effective services in the thriving Greek aviation market. The GATN also seasonally repositions aircraft from neighbouring countries to meet the needs of its clients.

Empty Leg and Flight Availability Made Easy

With a well-connected network of available private charter aircraft, ABI and the GATN offer the most competitive rates in the Greek and Mediterranean market. ABI and GATN list all empty legs available throughout Greece and the Greek islands on its homepage.

Both company web sites feature the Smart Banner. Clients seeking flights can enter dates, destinations and other data on the Smart Banner to find an online indicative price and availability status for one of 7,000 flights from private jets and aircraft based in Greece.

New Additions for the GATN

The Greek Air Taxi Network organizes the most professional and reliable aircraft operators in Greece and in neighboring countries. The success of the network has led to new additions to its fleet of private jets and helicopters.

- A colorful Butterfly took the skies this past summer. The Let L-410 Turboprop operated by Heliair completed its first flight for the Greek Air Taxi Network early in July. Painted with bright pastel butterflies on its body, the Butterfly is opening new options for family and group travel in Greece.

- A brand new vvip EC-155, fitted with luxury interiors, offers luxury and vip corporate helicopter travel. The twin-engine aircraft and can carry up to 13 passengers along with up to two crew members.

- A recently refurbished A109K2 helicopter accommodates up to six passengers and can be configured to accommodate bulky luggage, cargo and pet cages. Within minutes it can be converted and utilized as a medical transport and emergency aircraft.

First Greek Aviation Blog

The launch of the brand new www.allaboutaviation.gr blog is gaining a substantial following since it launched this summer. The unique industry blog offer fresh perspective on aviation trends, news and views from Greece and Europe. Air Business International is behind the innovative new blog, the first of its kind, which is written by flight enthusiasts based in Greece.
