Gulfstream to live stream opening session of customer event

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation will webcast the opening session of its upcoming Customer Advisory Board (CAB) event, which is scheduled for Aug. 31 to Sept. 2 at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. The presentations, set to begin at 8 a.m. on Sept. 1, will be streamed live on MyGulfstream.com, Gulfstream’s password-protected website. “Live streaming the opening session will give many more of our customers access to the most up-to-date information on our aircraft and our service and customer support network,” said Derek Zimmerman, president, Gulfstream product support. “As we have discovered through operator forums around the world, broadcasting live is a great way to engage with customers. We want all of our operators to be well-informed and feel connected to us whether they’re based in Atlanta or New Zealand.”

The biannual CAB meetings provide a forum for Gulfstream operators to share their comments and concerns about their aircraft and support services. The opening session will begin with a company overview by Gulfstream president Mark Burns. Gulfstream will also stream presentations on its aircraft programs and technology, along with its service and support network. Presenting that information will be Zimmerman and Dan Nale, senior vice president, programs, engineering and test, Gulfstream. The advisory board has five committees focused on Gulfstream aircraft — G100/G150/G200, G280, GIV/GV, G450/G550, G650/G650ER — and one dedicated to cabin operations across the fleet. Each committee consists of 10-15 customers and is supported by a team of Gulfstream experts. The CAB, which debuted in March 1998, has been a catalyst for continued improvement and expansion of Gulfstream aircraft and services. Among the participants expected to attend the upcoming meeting are operators from the U.S., Canada, England, Germany, Greece, Nigeria, Mexico, Panama, Tanzania and the United Arab Emirates.
