FlightSafety International has announced that it has been named by Rolls-Royce as a civil small and medium engines (CSME) authorized training provider for BR725 engine and troubleshooting courses. The training will be offered at FlightSafety's maintenance training center in Savannah, Georgia to technicians who service and support Gulfstream G650 aircraft.

This training agreement will provide just that, a world-class training option that compliments those offered by Rolls-Royce.”

The line maintenance and borescope inspection courses will provide hands-on practical training using a Rolls-Royce BR725 engine. Maintenance technicians will receive a comprehensive description of the BR725 engine and training on borescope inspections and the removal and re-installation of line-replaceable units. The courses will also cover engine and engine systems servicing, routine maintenance and inspection, as well as safety warnings and precautions.

Rolls-Royce and FlightSafety are also developing an enhanced troubleshooting course for the BR725 engine. Rolls-Royce customers enrolled in CorporateCare will be able to use their annual Rolls-Royce training voucher for this course once it becomes available.

The BR725 engine courses are part of FlightSafety's Gulfstream total technical training program. Total technical training is designed to improve troubleshooting skills and increase the operational knowledge of those who support and maintain Gulfstream aircraft. Over 20,000 total technical training program courses have been provided to date.
