Regional md of JetBrokers and partner in Aura Aviation, Tim Barber, is set to leave both businesses but will continue to handle his current sales and acquisition mandates until they have been fully concluded. Any new contracts will be handed over to other members of the team to conclude. In the meantime his wider responsibilities will be picked up by business partner, John Merry.

Tim Barber was a central figure in the establishment of JetBrokers Europe as a partner to JetBrokers Inc in the US. As the geographical representation of the business widened, it was decided that a common JetBrokers brand name was more appropriate for the business and the new JetBrokers brand was launched at the end of 2014.

John Merry said. “Tim has put an enormous amount into the business since its launch at NBAA in 2009 and he will be a significant loss. However, we remain friends and he retains an economic interest in the business.”

“The last six years or so have been tremendous and it is inevitably with some degree of sadness when you decide to head off to pastures new. My interest in the business remains and I will continue to offer support as required.” commented Tim Barber.
