Air Service Basel (ASB) saw one of its busiest weeks so far during this year's Art Basel exhibition, which took place in Basel from 15th-21st June 2015. Air Service Basel's FBO welcomed a record number of up to almost 350 movements, including almost 80 private and business jets flights on the peak day of the event, being a remarkable 15% increase in movements compared to last year's event. A majority of movements this year were larger cabin sized jets, namely Challengers, Gulfstreams and Global Express aircraft.

As with every year, the outstanding co-operation and teamwork of the various partners and authorities at the EuroAirport Basel with Air Service Basel's FBO team was a major contributing factor to the tremendous success.”

At this special occasion, ASB unveiled its expanded and renovated FBO facility at the EuroAirport Basel. Almost doubling its size, the roomier FBO now expands over two floors, and boasts two bright and spacious vip customer lounges, a fully equipped conference room, as well as renovated and modernized customer bathrooms. The FBO is also expanding its crew lounge further to include a quiet and comfortable “snooze room”. Air Service Basel's ceo, Claudio Lasagni, continues “Our goal is to provide a world-class customer experience in an exclusive, discreet and secure environment. The recent enhancements to our FBO clearly underline the outstanding quality level of handling services, comfort and flexibility extended to all our arriving and departing guests.”

Air Service Basel is a full service FBO, as well as an EASA and FAA approved maintenance organization, and a Beechcraft authorized service center for King Air products, at the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse (LFSB / LSZM) in Switzerland.
