Jet Aviation Geneva has recently installed Honeywell's Ovation Select cabin management system (CMS) on a Bombardier Global Express business jet. The installation received European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) supplemental type certificate (STC) approval.

Jet Aviation Geneva has delivered a 14-year-old Bombardier Global Express after removing an obsolete cabin management system and replacing it with Honeywell's robust Ovation Select system.

The scope of the project involved a complete re-design of the cabin system features, including audio/video, JetMap HD and WiFi systems, as well as the water, lights and air conditioning. With the new Ovation Select system installed, the cabin can now be managed throughout several touch-screen units that were integrated into the side-ledges, seats and galleys for convenient, user-friendly access by crew and passengers. The controls are also accessible through five handheld devices (iPads) placed in dedicated sockets designed for this particular aircraft.
