FBO Riga, a certified ground handling agent in Riga International Airport, has experienced growth in business aviation traffic, including state aviation flights, in Riga International Airport (RIX) between February and March 2015. Among the factors, stimulating business aviation traffic in the country is the Latvian presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU) that started on January 1st, 2015.

In February 2015, the total number of business aviation flights to/from RIX handled by FBO Riga rose by 21% while the number of vip passengers surged by 62% compared to the company's results in the same period in 2014. In March, the total number of vip passengers handled by FBO Riga climbed by 30% compared to the same month last year. Most of the flights were from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany and Netherlands.

In the face of the soaring demand for ground handling in RIX, FBO Riga has proved its status as a reliable partner providing on-time high quality services for business aviation flights and vip passengers.
