Global Jet establishes Chinese joint venture

As the next step in broadening and strengthening its activities in China, Global Jet has agreed to establish a joint venture with Jinggong Group, a large-sized hi-tech global-market-oriented enterprise, listed as a Chinese top 500 company. The new company, Jinggong Global Jet Co., Ltd, has chosen Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport as its headquarters and the office now welcomes more than 20 employees including management and service professionals as well as a technical team.

French ceo Franck Dubarry, and Chinese chairman Margaret Ma will lead this team. “We are the best representation of this new company," comments Dubarry. "She's Asian, I'm European and we both brought our own knowledge of the aviation industry. Our aim, is to provide our customers with the local resources of Jinggong Group and the truly international experience of Global Jet.”

Franck Dubarry has more than twenty years of experience in the aeronautical industry. He has been part of the French Navy and worked for commercial and business corporate companies as a postholder.
Maragaret Ma has worked with the Jinggong group for over two decades now. Business aviation is a new challenge for her but she is confident it is a field she will fit in perfectly.

Global Jet started its Chinese adventure nearly 10 years ago and made strategic decisions as far as its development was concerned. First the company focused on aircraft management and is operating six aircraft in Asia: a Falcon 2000, a G450, a Falcon 7X, a Global Express XRS, a Global 6000 and its latest addition, an Airbus ACJ319. Other major management projects are under process for the upcoming months.

Global Jet is now ready to operate commercial aircraft in Asia. With the Chinese AOC which was obtained last year, the company will perform its first flight around summer time and looks forward to many more.

The company also opened a few months ago a new representation office in Hong Kong, to complete its already existing facility in Beijing.
