Jet Aviation Zurich FBO provides support to 45th annual World Economic Forum in 2015

Jet Aviation Zurich provided handling support to the majority of aircraft and delegates passing through Zurich International Airport on their way to the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) held January 21-24, 2015, in Davos, Switzerland. The FBO handled 582 movements and 1,485 passengers.

A record number of delegates were expected at WEF this year and Jet Aviation Zurich ramped up to ensure the seamless transfer of all vip aircraft and passengers to the esteemed WEF event in Davos. The company brought in additional staff from its Dubai, Basel and Berlin facilities to assist with customized passenger and crew handling in the days leading up to and following the assembly. The company also added a number of luxury vehicles to its existing fleet to accommodate ground transportation requirements for the surge of WEF passengers.

Jet Aviation Zurich managed 582 WEF movements and 1,485 passengers last week in addition to organizing return helicopter services from Zurich to Davos upon request. As the only FBO at Zurich airport providing Jet A-1 and Avgas 100LL, the company further supported WEF fuel sales of more than 890,979 liters.

“Our goal is to meet or exceed customers' requirements and expectations, and when we learned that record numbers were expected this year, we drew on our FBO network for additional support,” says Monica Beusch, general manager of Jet Aviation Zurich and head of FBO services in EMEA and Asia. “I was very proud to see how our international team of handling professionals worked together to ensure a premium customer experience. They truly demonstrated a consistent commitment to five-star customer service throughout our network.”
