JSSI and VistaJet expand relationship; agree to new Challenger 350 fleet deal

Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) announced today that an agreement has been reached with VistaJet to enroll their fleet of Bombardier Challenger 350 aircraft onto JSSI's Platinum engine and APU hourly cost maintenance program. VistaJet's Bombardier Challenger 350 order for 20 firm and 20 additional options was placed in June of 2013. The transaction was valued at more than $1.035 billion US, with deliveries beginning last month.

The new framework agreement expands JSSI's relationship with VistaJet. The unprecedented deal that was reached between the two companies at EBACE 2013 included VistaJet's monumental fleet order of 50 Bombardier Global 5000 and 6000 business jets. As VistaJet continues to take these deliveries, JSSI has enrolled each of the engines and APUs for all the Global 5000 and 6000, Challenger 850 and now the Challenger 350 aircraft fleets. VistaJet's AugustaWestland helicopter engines are also enrolled with JSSI. Currently, JSSI has 18 VistaJet aircraft on their hourly cost maintenance programs with approximately seven more on schedule to be enrolled before year-end.

“The entire JSSI organization puts their customers first and approaches business with a level of friendliness and a can-do attitude that is rarely seen. They have delivered fantastic results across the board with our Global 6000, Global 5000 and Challenger 850 engines and APUs already enrolled in their Platinum program, bringing tremendous value to our internal maintenance, tracking and cost planning. We look forward to the same great service for our Challenger 350 aircraft fleet,” commented Nick van der Meer, accountable manager for VistaJet.

“We are appreciative and humbled by the faith and confidence that VistaJet has placed in us,” remarked Neil Book, president and chief executive officer for JSSI. “As we continue to expand our alliance across VistaJet's fleet of aircraft, we want to take this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to providing a level of service that consistently meets and exceeds their high expectations. VistaJet delivers a flying experience that is second to none in business aviation. We embrace this new opportunity and will work to deliver that same level of service,” added Book.

JSSI's Platinum Engine program for the Honeywell HTF7350 engines that power the Challenger 350 offers an all-inclusive, hourly cost maintenance program that drives down maintenance costs, provides budget stability and adds peace of mind.

JSSI Platinum provides comprehensive coverage for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, rental engines, supplemental lift, engine removal and replacement (R&R) and shipping. The JSSI APU Program for the Honeywell 36-150 will cover scheduled and unscheduled events for VistaJet's APUs, as well as life limited components. Unlike other APU programs, there is no buy-in requirement and just one easy annual payment.
