Nextant Aerospace, maker of the Nextant 400XTi, the world's only remanufactured business jet, announced today that the Nextant G90XT is on schedule to begin customer deliveries in the first quarter of 2015. The aircraft will make its maiden flight early next month and it is expected to fly faster and further than the competition with significantly lower operating costs.

The combination of new General Electric engines, Garmin integrated flight deck and a completely rebuilt and upgraded airframe, cockpit and cabin make the Nextant G90XT not just the most capable but also the most cost-efficient aircraft in its class. The Nextant G90XT's rugged nature, short runway capabilities and heavy haul capacity make it ideal for a variety of mission profiles, from executive transport to financial road shows to supporting manufacturing and the extraction industries. It will have the lowest total cost of ownership of any true twin-engine business aircraft.

The Latin American market has really heated up since LABACE in August. Both of Nextant's Latin American sales representatives – Cygnus Aviation and GFM Aviation – have signed new customers. As a result of the regional demand, Nextant has established the first authorized service center in Latin America.

We have mated the new GE H75-100 engines with the airframe and look forward to the first flight next month. We are on track for initial customer deliveries towards the end of the first quarter of 2015.”

The Nextant G90XT benefits from an enhanced Garmin G1000 integrated flight deck. Tailored for the G90XT, this version brings ergonomically enhanced, jet-standard features to turboprop flying to deliver improved aircraft performance, low operating costs and a host of safety and maintenance benefits. The new flight deck will also feature electronic engine and fuel indication on the multi-function display.

The ultra-low-maintenance General Electric H75-100 engines feature a 4,000-hour TBO and do not require midpoint hot sections, significantly reducing maintenance costs. A newly integrated electronic engine control system on the engines allows for single-lever power control and full auto-start capability which will protect the engine from overtemping during start-up.
