Jet Aviation Singapore appoints Herb Chahal as new sales director, Asia

Jet Aviation Singapore announces the appointment of Herb Chahal as the company's new sales director for Asia, effective October 1. Chahal reports directly to John Riggir, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Singapore.

As director of sales for Asia, Chahal is responsible for liaising with aircraft owners, operators and industry executives within the region to ensure they are informed about the benefits of entrusting their aircraft to Jet Aviation.

A 38-year industry veteran, Chahal's career path spans the UK, Canada, Malaysia and Singapore. He has considerable account management experience in aircraft maintenance and operations, accident investigation, flight engineering and field service. Chahal joins Jet Aviation from Bombardier, where he held a number of managerial positions the past 20 years, including responsibility for developing, planning and establishing regional offices in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, India and Australia. Based in Singapore, he most recently served as regional manager for Bombardier Business Aircraft - customer support in the Asia and Australasia regions.
