New aviation management audit software offered by Swiss AeroEx

Swiss based AeroEx GmbH is offering a brand new, state-of-the-art compliance monitoring software called AMAS II. AMAS stands for aviation management audit system, and has been developed together with ipro, a German software development company. Ipro is specialized in the development of Intrexx-based quality management systems.

AMAS II offered by AeroEx is used to monitor compliance with all EASA, as well as national/international aviation and industry standards. It supports compliance managers and auditors in the planning, preparation, performance, documentation, monitoring, and archiving of all audit data. AMAS II is a multilingual software, also offering a compliance library e.g. aviation regulations and international industry standards like IS-BAO and the preparation of customized questionnaires. It is either available as an in-house solution or a Cloud web-based solution. Both solutions include software services as well as questionnaire and compliance library update services. Users have access to the company or Cloud server from their PC, laptop, i-pad or smartphone via browser, thus improving user's efficiency by enabling direct data exchange.

AeroEx, the European expert for assisting the aviation community in compliance with EASA- and other international aviation regulations and industry standards, is also drawing attention to the new EASA regulation for Third Country Operations (TCO). This EASA regulation is in effect and will require all commercial Third Country Operators (holding an AOC) to apply for authorization when flying into, within and/or out of the 32 EASA member states in Europe. The purpose is, to harmonize and to streamline the authorization process for TCO's based on a single, proportionate and risk-based safety assessment. A TCO authorization will become a prerequisite to exercise operational permits, granted by individual EASA member states. The standard authorization process will validate the AOC as granted by the competent authorities by means of the operators specification. On-site audits will only apply in case of critical operators (e.g. EU safety list, so called black list) or after suspension of a TCO authorization. Annex 1 (Part-TCO) of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 452/2014 contains the requirements for the operator, while the authority requirements regarding the authorization of foreign operators are laid down in Annex 2 (Part-ART). The deadline to apply for a TCO authorization is 26th November 2014.
As of today, many third-country operators have not submitted their application yet. Once the application has been received, EASA will conduct a safety evaluation of the technical questionnaire provided by the third-country operator to grant the TCO authorization.

With many years of experience and a highly competent team in EASA compliance, AeroEx is offering all commercial operators affected, its services in preparing the authorization documents and implementing the authorization. AeroEx is also prepared to assist as far as applicable in EASA audit preparations, safety assessments of foreign aircraft (ramp checks), corrective actions, and awareness training.

AeroEx GmbH is present at this year's NBAA together with its Canadian partner for on-line training TrainingPort.net at a joint booth (no. 3876 in the North Exhibit Hall). AeroEx experts are available for more information on AMAS II and TCO.
