ExecuJet all set for AAD 2014

ExecuJet will once again participate at the annual Africa Aerospace & Defence (AAD) show. Due to take place at the Waterkloof Airforce Base from September 17-21, the show has become the 'go-to' platform for showcasing the best of Africa's air, sea and land technologies and has long been a fixture on ExecuJet's calendar.

Ettore Poggi, vice president ExecuJet, Africa and director of ExecuJet Maintenance says: “We are proud to be associated with AAD. Over the years it has proven a particularly effective platform for showcasing our unique services and provides both clients and employees with an opportunity to sound out opportunities and foster new and existing relationships.”

ExecuJet will present its 'full house' suite of services at chalet number 13. Interested parties will be able to peruse the company's unsurpassed expertise in aircraft and helicopter management, private charters, aircraft maintenance, flight and ground operations and fixed based operation (FBO) services.

Expansion and new aircraft

Over the years, ExecuJet has evolved and expanded its footprint and is now capable of transporting clients to just about every destination across the continent – and beyond. In light of Africa's booming economy and exploration into various resource sectors, the ability to do so has become more important than ever, notes Poggi.

In line with this outlook, ExecuJet has escalated its support capabilities at its Bombardier approved Cape Town International Airport facility which, in addition to the usual course of business, now covers Bombardier Dash 8 Q300, Q400 CRJ 100 and CRJ 200 aircraft maintenance.

ExecuJet has recently added to its existing diverse fleet a King Air turbo-prop and Legacy 600 widebody jet – the aircraft of choice for the discerning client. The company's new aircraft, improved reach and capability are welcome additions to the charter fleet.

Highest standards

ExecuJet has achieved numerous accolades both globally and locally. Arguably one of the most notable amongst the company's local achievements is Argus International's Platinum Rating which is awarded to those operators who have successfully implemented industry best safety practices. ExecuJet is the only operator to have received the Platinum Rating as a charter operator on the African continent. In August 2014, ExecuJet was named Best Private Aviation Operator at the Business Traveller Africa Awards.
