EASA STC for five-blade MT propeller on PA-46-310P/-350P Jet Prop

MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the EASA STC 10049811 for the next generation Quiet Fan Jet five-blade scimitar composite propeller MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR203-58d on the PA-46-310P/-350P Jet Prop powered by PT6A-21/-34/-35.

The FAA STC is in progress.

The propeller installation provides:

- Best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operations

- Bonded on nickel alloy leading edge for best erosion protection of the blades

- General performance improvement (10% shorter take-off distance, 10% better climb! Performance, 3 kts faster in cruise)

- Approx. 3 lbs less weight than the original metal propeller

- Cooler ITT on ground with condition lever at low and high idle position

- No propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle

- Unlimited blade life! FOD repairable blades

- More ground clearance ≠> less FODs

- Jetlike vibration and noise signature

- Significant cabin noise and vibration reduction

All models comply with the strict German noise regulations 2010-"Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung" for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European countries.

The high technology natural composite blades have no life limitation and can be repaired even in case of a FOD.
