Bell Helicopter to provide updates on commercial programs and continued global momentum at Farnborough International Airshow

Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company, is showcasing its modernized commercial product line at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) in the United Kingdom from July 14-20. There will be four Bell Helicopter aircraft on display, including the international debut of the Bell 525 Relentless™ mockup configured for search and rescue (SAR) missions, the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X™ mockup, which is concluding its three month tour of Europe, the Bell 407GX, and the Bell 429 configured for helicopter emergency medical service missions, which is also completing a demo tour throughout Europe leading up to the show. In addition to providing visitors a chance to get a close look at the capabilities, spacious cabins and state-of-the art glass cockpits throughout the Bell Helicopter product line, a corporate-configured Bell 429 will also perform flight demonstrations during the show.

“In the past few years, we have made a significant investment to make sure our entire product line best meets the mission needs of our customers throughout the world,” said John L. Garrison, president and ceo of Bell Helicopter. “Right now, our current and future products provide operators with fully-integrated glass cockpits and enhanced performance, safety and reliability for any mission need.”

The Bell Helicopter display will be located outside exhibit area L2 and will also feature products from other Textron companies, including Textron AirLand, Textron Aviation and Textron Systems.

“In the past few years, we have had great success in Europe and see additional opportunities for further growth,” said Danny Maldonado, Bell Helicopter's executive vice president of commercial sales and marketing. “We have invested in developing our local facilities and aftermarket capabilities to better serve our European customers, and Farnborough gives us an opportunity to connect our team with these customers and learn more about their future needs.”

The Farnborough International Airshow prides itself on facilitating first-class business opportunities for the global aerospace industry. As one of the world's largest exhibitions and air displays, the show provides a wealth of dedicated and focused business platforms.
