Textron Aviation companies expand European service offerings

Cessna Aircraft Company and Beechcraft Corporation, part of the Textron Aviation segment of Textron Inc., announced today at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) several expansions within their network of seven European company-owned service centers.

The companies have opened two new OEM line service support stations in Europe at the London Luton Airport and Cannes Mandelieu Airport, with a third location available this summer in Geneva, Switzerland. These stations will be supported by a team of full-time licensed technicians and provide line maintenance, defect rectification and AOG support in these regions to operators of Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft. In addition, existing company-owned facilities in Zurich, Switzerland, and Düsseldorf, Germany, now provide maintenance, modification and upgrade services for owners and operators of Beechcraft, Citation and Hawker aircraft.

“Growing our services across Europe is very important in serving our broad customer base, which includes nearly 2,000 aircraft. These strategic locations make factory service and support convenient and cost-effective for our Beechcraft, Citation and Hawker customers living or traveling in Europe,” said Brad Thress, senior vice president, customer service.

The Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker service network includes 23 company-owned service facilities around the globe and access to more than 40 mobile service units stationed throughout North America and Europe that deliver award winning service directly to operators.
