Xclusive Jet Charter looks to new year following success of 2013

Southampton Airport, UK headquartered Xclusive Jet Charter is celebrating 2013 as a good year. The addition of the Cessna Citation XLS+ and Dassault Falcon 900B types to its commercial Air Operators Certificate (AOC), upgrade to a 'worldwide AOC' operating region and joining the US Visa Waiver Programme has meant a particularly busy 12th year for the UK's south coast based organisation.

2013 saw development of the “standalone” CAMO approval with the receipt of its 'Part M Subpart G with Part I privileges' approval, allowing greater control over its fleet and its airworthiness activities. Xclusive Jet selected CAMP as the basis for fleet maintenance scheduling and monitoring while the 'ops' department installed the web-based LEON operations software; linked to ARINC and PPS Flightplanning systems to streamline Xclusive Jet's effectiveness and standards.

The latest aircraft released to commercial service, the pristine 14-place Falcon 900B is strategically based in Cannes, France (LFMD) and is already receiving high praise backed by a high level of advance charter bookings. G-FLCN joins the recently refurbished Hawker 800XP mid-size (G-MAXP) and Cessna Citation II light jet (G-CGOA) to offer options and pricing flexibility across its charter fleet.

Managing director Steve Loveridge comments that "perhaps 2013 has demonstrated a return to improved times after the disappointments of the global recession. Xclusive Jet has successfully ridden the storm; it tailored its business to the redefined markets between 2008 and 2012 to come out stronger as the world re-opened for business. As we (industry) focus on 2014 and the transition to EASA-OPS, our new legislative compliance state, Xclusive Jet is not only prepared and ready but is primed for further growth as a responsible and recognised global player, commercially and non-commercially, working with all registers and national aviation authorities”
Loveridge rounds off by emphasising that “ Happy New Year has not sounded so good for such a long time”….at least for Xclusive Jet that is.
