Issued by Jet Aviation Singapore.
October 3, 2013
Jet Aviation Singapore is in full construction mode as it presses forward to complete its new hangar facilities at Seletar Aerospace Park by early February 2014. The new facility will triple the size of the current facility, adding a new 5,000 sq m hangar, two floors of shops and offices covering a gross area of 4,060 sq m and approximately 9,380 sq m to its apron.
Construction of the new hangar alongside Jet Aviation Singapore's current maintenance and FBO operation in Seletar Aerospace Park is on track. Project completion is scheduled for early February 2014 and the facility will be unveiled at an opening celebration at the Singapore Airshow in February.
Under a design-build contract with Aircraft Support Industries (ASI), which mobilized and commenced site construction on May 8, 2013, the two-story annex shell structure and all temporary structures have been erected. Ramp expansion is also well underway.
“We are expanding our facilities in direct response to growing demand in the region for large, long-range business jets," says Gary Dolski. "The new hangar will permit up to five Gulfstream G650 or five Bombardier Global Express 7000 aircraft and underscores our commitment to upholding the highest standards in quality and service.”
