Hawker Pacific announces first-ever regional King Air 250 tour

Hawker Pacific, leading aircraft sales and product support company in Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East, is delighted to announce the first-ever demonstration tour across the Asia-Pacific region of a brand new Beechcraft King Air 250 aircraft.

Scheduled for arrival in the region at the end of the month, the aircraft will visit New Zealand, followed by Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, before it departs for Indonesia where further demonstrations will be conducted in south east Asia.

Tony Jones, Hawker Pacific's senior vice president, aircraft sales group said: “The King Air is the best-selling business aircraft in the world, so we're not surprised at the considerable enthusiasm we have received from the market in the lead up to this aircraft's inaugural tour.”

“The King Air range of aircraft is incredibly popular throughout Australia and New Zealand with an installed base of 187 aircraft operating in a variety of missions including government, military, aeromedical and private operations. The King Air 250, the latest evolution of the King Air range, remains the aircraft of choice for companies, governments and individuals – primarily due to its comfort, range and economy.”

“What's also unique about this aircraft is its composite winglets and lightweight composite propellers, enhancing its performance with higher cruise speeds and improved short field capability. This capability makes it extremely practical for use in and out of smaller, remote locations without sacrificing any of the other King Air strengths – an appealing feature for owners and operators, particularly in this market. “

“We're proud of our ongoing relationship with Beechcraft and look forward to showcasing the King Air 250 aircraft to the region.”

The King Air has been in production for close to 50 years and the 250 has upped the ante with a thorough number of significant developments based on input from more than 3,000 Beechcraft customers and operators. Its maximum cruise speed of 310 knots and maximum range of 1,600 nautical miles carries passengers and cargo faster and farther than any aircraft in its class. The next-generation Beechcraft King Air 250 aircraft features composite winglets and lightweight composite propellers, delivering improved runway performance, range, speed and enhanced climb.
